“Growing up in rural Minnesota, I knew I wanted to raise my family and develop roots within a small community like Traverse City. The area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, water sports, winter sports, hunting, fishing), amazing food options, and the arts.

I chose Munson Family Medicine Residency for three main reasons. First, the all faculty do full spectrum family medicine including OB, clinical, and inpatient. Second, the entire faculty are warm, approachable, genuine people that are eager to support both professional and personal pursuits. Third, the Munson Healthcare leaders are engaged. I can honestly say that in no other position have I had such availability of the administration from the committee chairs to the chief executives.
